You should do the right thing and tell them anyways. As a tow Operator, have the integrity to do the right thing unlike most tow ops that will scratch/dent/damage a car and never say anything. Then the owners see it and have to pay to fix it knowing they didnt do it.

Fucken Midas, in Australia i got my car serviced by them in 2008, fucked all my fuses amd i ran outbof fuel because the fuel gauge fuse was blown and was reading full instead of empty, called to let them know got told to fuck off noe of their techs are that incompetent, told not to come back then heard dial tone, FUCK MIDAS IN THE ARSEHOLE

Seems to be a big mechanic corp problem. I took my civic into honda for a break pad change. Well, lone behold, im out driving with my buddy on my birthday, it starts clunking like crazy i end up getting pulled over figure out my insurance expired and there was 3 bolts missing from the calipers

Happened to us... put the car in for 4 new treads... my wife called me at work saying she picked the car up and something was wrong... there was two lug nuts that was almost off... the studs had ovaled out the stud holes on the rim so someone neglected to tighten that wheel luckily the wheel hadn't come off completely and she pulled over in time as she had just picked the girls up from school... ended up in a punch on with the mechanic... denied any wrong doing which frustrated me on top of being pissed off about their safety put at risk sent me over

Definitely wont get fired. Entry level mechanic working for entry level wages doing entry level shi+ while they charge normal shop rates. Id imagine he could drop a vehicle off the lift, lose a few tires, destroy a transmission or 2 and blow up a couple engines before he gets fired. Still cheaper than hiring an experienced tech.

I worked at hubcap heaven in West park Florida and they fix bent rims , most of the rims come from Midas fucking up . Also Midas sent multiple cars out without tightening lug nuts and this happened multiple times while I worked at hubcap heaven . Customers told us they went to Midas and when they left their wheel flew off .

30 foot safety chain or recovery rope saves thay from happening. Never assume cars in park. Or brake work. Hell anything at all works. Assume it dont. Be safe folks.
